Too much health is pointless, especially in PvE. About 400-500 is ok, more is pointless, less is risky.

Thats rather rubbish lol try playin HM Shards of Orr or Vloxen Excavations with 400 on each party member haha you'd be slaughtered in one Shockwave or Sandstorm lol especially with H/H.

I run my HP at around 550ish normally its not too bad

You don't interrupt sandstorm and then when it hits you remain stationary?

Running 400-500 Health is not the way to go in any intensive PvP events. You may be able to get away with it in PvE and maybe AB, but otherwise the risk of dying is too great.

I H/H, so the majority of my team stays stationary until I flag them.

But if you would like to show me how to Vloxen Excavations HM with 400hp on yourself and heros i'd be more and happy to lauh while you fail.

i run 495 or 570 depending on the situation but with 400hp you are pretty fragile since from my experience monsters useally attack some1 with the lowest hp first , correct me if im wrong

Default ranger build

Hi

I usually run around 570 health and 38 energy, i use + 5 energy mod on most of my bows, and never have a problem, usually one of the last standing when in parties.

I guess you never tried Hard Mode. I never let me or my heroes go below 550.

Although you could get away with low life anywhere IF you have a human paragon in party.

A ranger has better armor then casters, attacks against rangers will do less damage and require less healing then attacks against casters. From that perspective it may be preferable if a ranger has (slightly) less HP then caster (but more then the tanks).

LOL hard mode what? Old Ascalon?
Go vanquish Garden of Seborhin, I wanna see how your necro survives typical spike from 4 Roaring Ethers and a Ruby Djinn.

Don't attempt to be condescending with me, you apparently still have to learn there can be different opinions and experiences. Perhaps you can accept that it's from my experience playing this game that I make these statements, I never found pumping HP made a positive difference in the results.

Did I say that? The fact that you need to twist what was said shows your weakness in arguing and your lack of knowledge on the matter.

You said...

Meaning your tank has less HP than yourself? And if you run at 400 - 500 your tanks gonna die very quickly lol

Like Washi said, go find some AoE in either NF or EotN and watch your team die. If you want to show me how you do it be my guest haha
